What to write about

You found an error or a discrepancy with the original source. This is the most useful message of all: tell us the page and exactly what does not match. Substantive errors are corrected, and the material gets a new review date.

A price has changed. Prices are taken from the services’ own pages and published with a check date, but they change without warning. If you see a difference, write to us.

A personal data request: access, deletion, withdrawal of consent. Details are in the privacy policy.

A suggestion for material or a topic. We do not publish submitted texts or commissioned articles, but the topics people actually ask about interest us.

Co-operation. Note in advance: places in comparisons are not for sale, the order is determined by published criteria, and the safety section carries no commercial links at all. If the proposal amounts to payment for a mention, the answer will be no.

Response times

Ordinary messages: a few working days. The site is run by one person, not an editorial team, so we do not promise an instant reply.

Data protection requests: one month from receipt, as laid down in the GDPR. The deadline may be extended by at most two months if the request is complex, but the extension has to be notified within the first month.

We try to handle error reports faster than anything else: a wrong figure on a page harms the reader every day it stays up.

What we do not do

We do not advise on individual cases. We are an information site, not lawyers or a support desk. If you need your own case looked at, the official channels are listed on our pages: the consumer advice service (kuluttajaneuvonta) on 09 5110 1200 for consumer disputes, the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuojavaltuutettu) for personal data matters, and Victim Support Finland (Rikosuhripäivystys) on 116 006 for victims of crime.

We do not help with accounts on dating services. We are not affiliated with them and have no access to them.

We do not reply to messages offering to buy a link or to place a ready-made text.

Nor do we take in material we cannot verify. Where a message makes a claim without an original source, we ask for the source before changing anything: correcting a published text on the strength of an unverified message is the same mistake as writing it unverified in the first place.

Frequently asked
