Short answer

Suomi24 Treffit and Treffit24 are the same service under two names. The service says so itself: its page title reads «Suomi24 Treffit on Treffit24», and the page refers to itself as Treffit24. The address is treffit.suomi24.fi and the operator is Online Technology Group Oy, business ID 3104918-1. Basic features are free: three photos, three messages per 24 hours and two months of message history. Wider access is sold as Treffit Plus for two weeks, one month, three months, or as a rolling subscription. Prices as checked on 18 September 2026: two weeks 11,95 €, a rolling subscription at 14,95 € per 30 days, one month 16,95 € and three months 32,95 €. The rolling subscription is the thing to tell apart from a fixed period.

Are Suomi24 Treffit and Treffit24 the same thing? Yes

This is the clearest answer on the page and it is worth giving straight away. It is one service using two names in parallel.

The evidence is on the service own page. The title of treffit.suomi24.fi read, as checked on 18 September 2026: «Suomi24 Treffit on Treffit24 - Deittaile ilmaiseksi!» On the same page the service refers to itself by the other name: «Treffit24 on kotimainen deittipalvelu, jossa uudet profiilit varmennetaan puhelinnumerolla», under the heading «Miksi valita Treffit24?». The footer also carries a link, «Treffit24-blogi», pointing to deittailu.treffit24.fi.

In other words both names belong to the same service, and the service uses both of them on one page. If you are looking for Treffit24 as a separate service, there is none — you end up in the same place.

We noted this on 4 September 2026 but concluded then that it could not yet be asserted: search results carried the phrasing «Suomi24 Treffit eli Treffit24», but that was other sites wording, not the service own. The wording now comes from its own page, so it can be stated directly.

One more thing stated directly: Treffikone is not Suomi24 or Treffit24 and is not their representative, and we have no commercial relationship with this service. Everything below was read from its public pages, and the sources are listed at the end.

Who runs the service

The Suomi24 terms of use name the service provider as «Online Technology Group Oy:n, Kuortaneenkatu 1, 00520 Helsinki, Y-tunnus 3104918-1». This is a Finnish company entered in the trade register, and its details can be checked in the Finnish Patent and Registration Office open data service in a few minutes.

That is a meaningful difference from many foreign dating services. When the counterparty is identifiable and registered in Finland, a dispute has a clear other side and the domestic consumer remedies apply: consumer advisory services and the Consumer Disputes Board. This counts in the service favour, and it is fair to say so.

The brand belongs to the City Digital group, which lists Suomi24, E-kontakti, Treffit24 and Deitti.net among its own brands. In practice several Finnish dating services sit under one group. Worth knowing if you believe you are comparing independent services.

The terms are dated 8 January 2020. A date does not make terms invalid, but it shows when the text was last reviewed — and the distance-selling provisions of consumer law have been amended since.

What is free and what Treffit Plus includes

According to the service own help pages, «Treffien perustoiminnallisuudet ovat maksuttomia» — the basic features are free. Free use covers three photos, sending messages to three users per 24 hours, and message history from the last two months.

By industry standards that is a generous free tier. In most paid services sending a message sits entirely behind the paywall; here three messages a day are free. In practice it means you can take the service all the way to a conversation before paying anything. That is a significant difference for the reader, which is why it appears here before the price.

The paid tier is Treffit Plus: «Maksullisen paketin tilaajana saat käyttöösi laajennetun palvelun, joka tuo sinulle enemmän näkyvyyttä…» It covers visibility in search results, seeing who viewed your profile, unlimited photos, a megaphone feature, sending messages to up to a hundred users a day, and removal of ads.

The periods, in the service own words, are «kahdeksi viikoksi, yhdeksi tai kolmeksi kuukaudeksi, tai kestotilauksena» — two weeks, one or three months, or a rolling subscription. Payment methods listed include cards, online banking, MobilePay, Apple Pay, Pivo, Siirto and phone billing.

The price list is public and needs no account: it sits at treffit.suomi24.fi/subscription/promo. Prices on 18 September 2026: two weeks 11,95 euros, a rolling subscription at 14,95 euros per 30 days, one month 16,95 euros and three months 32,95 euros. The same figures appeared in our checks on 4 and 14 September, so the price has held across three checks.

For comparison, from exactly the same day: the E-kontakti price list is higher over the same periods — two weeks 24,90 euros, one month 34,90 euros and three months 59,90 euros for a profile with a photo. We say this even though E-kontakti is our commercial partner and this service is not: a price comparison with the prices removed is not a comparison. E-kontakti own advantage lies elsewhere, and it is named in the next section.

The rolling subscription — the key difference here

This is the part that makes the page worth reading to the end.

Treffit Plus can be bought as a fixed period or as a rolling subscription. A rolling subscription does not end by itself: billing continues until it is cancelled. The service own help text puts it this way: «Kestotilauksen voi sääntöjen mukaisesti perua ainoastaan seuraavan laskutusjakson loppuun» — a rolling subscription can be cancelled only to the end of the next billing period.

That is a different thing from a fixed period, which ends by itself. The difference only shows up months later on a bank statement, and it is the source of most disputes involving dating services: the person does not remember signing up for anything continuing.

For comparison, and on exactly the same measure: in another service of the same group, E-kontakti, there is no rolling subscription at all, and that service states so itself in two places. One corporate group, two different designs. This is not an assessment of either service but a difference each of them wrote onto its own pages.

What the subscription terms actually say is worth quoting in full, because they are better written than most. Opening «Tilausehdot» on the price page gives four sentences (read 18 September 2026): «Kestotilaus on voimassa toistaiseksi niin kauan kunnes käyttäjä toisin ilmoittaa. Profiilin piilotus ei vaikuta tilaukseen.» — the subscription runs until you say otherwise, and hiding your profile does not affect it. «Tilaus on voimassa 30 päivää kerrallaan.» «Maksu tapahtuu uuden tilausjakson alkaessa 30 päivän välein» And: «Kestotilauksen lopettaminen tapahtuu Treffit Plus -sivulla, kun käyttäjä on kirjautuneena. Kun käyttäjä lopettaa tilauksensa, tilaus jatkuu voimassaolevaa tilausjaksoa seuraavan tilausjakson loppuun.»

Three things in that text deserve credit, and we give it plainly. Cancelling is done by you, on a page, while logged in — no phone call and no email to customer service, which is where many services put an obstacle. There is no separate notice period. And the sentence about hiding your profile is a warning most services never give: people hide a profile believing they have stopped the billing, and the money keeps going out. Here it is stated before you pay.

Practical advice: when you buy Treffit Plus, look at the moment of purchase at which one you are choosing — a fixed period or a rolling subscription. If it is the rolling one, put the end of the 30-day period in your calendar immediately, not when you start thinking about stopping. And if you decide to stop, do it from the Treffit Plus page while logged in; hiding the profile is not the same thing.

How to cancel a subscription and how to delete a profile

A rolling subscription is cancelled, under the service rules, to the end of the next billing period. In practice cancelling does not cut short a period that has already begun; it stops the next one. So do it in good time before the period turns over, not after.

On deleting a profile the service help text is direct: «profiilin poistamista ei voi perua eikä sen tietoja voi saada takaisin» — profile deletion cannot be undone and the data cannot be recovered. That is a good warning, clearly written, but one practical consequence follows: if you have an active paid subscription, do not delete the profile first. Deal with the subscription first and delete the profile afterwards, and save the order confirmation and receipt before you do.

If a charge has already gone out and you cannot place it, the subscription cancellation helper walks through the steps in order, and the dating site price comparison shows what other services charge for the same periods.

A third distinction worth keeping: cancelling a subscription, deleting a profile and erasing your data are three different things. The GDPR gives a separate right to request erasure, and such a request is best made in writing. This service privacy policy is a shared group document.

What the terms say about the right of withdrawal

The Suomi24 terms state, word for word: «Tilattu maksullinen Palvelu katsotaan otetuksi Käyttäjän suostumuksella käyttöön välittömästi tilauksen jälkeen, eikä Käyttäjällä ole kuluttajasuojalain mukaista peruutusoikeutta» — an ordered paid service is deemed accepted with the user consent immediately after the order, and the user has no right of withdrawal under consumer law. The same wording appears in the shared City Digital terms that apply to other services in the group.

Chapter 6, section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act gives a fourteen-day right of withdrawal in distance selling. Section 15 of the same chapter sets out when the right can be lost, and it names three conditions: the consumer express request, their acceptance that the right is lost, and the trader having performed the contract «in full». For digital content the act requires express prior consent and a separate acknowledgment, and further that both appear in the order confirmation.

We are not saying the service breaks the law. That assessment belongs to a court or a supervisory authority, not to a comparison site. We are saying what anyone can read at the same addresses: the terms say there is no right of withdrawal, and the act says the right exists and that losing it requires specific, named conditions.

What follows for you: in the act own wording, a contract term departing from the provisions of that chapter to the consumer detriment is void. If you believe you are entitled to withdraw, do it in writing within fourteen days, cite chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act, and keep a copy. If you get no answer, the next step is consumer advisory services and then the Consumer Disputes Board. Both are free.

And for fairness, the same clarification as elsewhere: withdrawing does not mean getting everything back. If performance began at your request, you pay a reasonable amount for the part already performed and the rest is refunded.

«Suomi24 treffit huijaus» — what people usually mean

This is one of the most common searches on the brand name, and it deserves a substantive answer rather than confirming or denying a label. When someone types the word scam, they usually mean one of three things. They are different problems and they are checked in different ways.

The first is an unrecognised charge on a bank statement. It is the most common one, and in this service the explanation is usually the rolling subscription: a continuing subscription bills until it is cancelled. So check first which one you have — a rolling subscription or a fixed period. If the charge is not recognisable at all, check the payee name on the statement and contact the service in writing.

The second is a suspicion of fake profiles. Here the service states its own countermeasure: new profiles are verified by phone number. Phone verification does not remove fake profiles entirely from any service, but it is a concrete obstacle and it is not present everywhere. An individual profile can be checked yourself: a reverse image search, and whether the same text appears elsewhere online, will catch a large share of them.

The third is romance fraud proper, where another person asks you for money. That is not a feature of a service but a crime, and it occurs on every platform. The signs are always the same: an emotional bond that deepens fast, a reason not to meet, and finally an emergency that needs money. Do not send money, keep the conversation, and report it both to the service and to the police.

Of these three, only the first relates to how the service itself is built, and the answer there is structural: look at which subscription form you chose. The other two apply equally to every dating service, including paid and foreign ones.

What the service says about itself, and what to make of it

The front page carries two figures that should be read for what they are — the service own claims. «Treffeissä 40 000 aktiivista käyttäjää löytää toisensa» and «Yli 2000 käyttäjää löytää rakkauden Treffit24-deittipalvelusta kuukausittain!»

Neither figure can be verified from outside. We neither repeat them as fact nor call them false — we say they are the service own figures and that the basis for counting them has not been published. The same caution applies to the user numbers of any dating service, including those we write about elsewhere on this site.

What you can check yourself, for free, is a far more useful number: how many people of your age the search returns in your area right now. Make the free profile, narrow the search by age and town, and look at the number of results. That figure applies to you, unlike a nationwide total.

Frequently asked

Are Suomi24 Treffit and Treffit24 the same service?

Yes. The page title at treffit.suomi24.fi reads «Suomi24 Treffit on Treffit24», and the page refers to itself as Treffit24. The footer carries a «Treffit24-blogi» link pointing to deittailu.treffit24.fi. There is no separate Treffit24 service — both names lead to the same place. Checked 18 September 2026.

Is Suomi24 Treffit free?

Partly. According to the service own help pages the basic features are free: three photos, sending messages to three users per 24 hours, and two months of message history. Wider access is sold as Treffit Plus. By industry standards the free tier is generous, because messaging is not entirely behind the paywall.

How much does Treffit Plus cost?

Two weeks 11,95 euros, one month 16,95 euros and three months 32,95 euros. There is also a rolling subscription at 14,95 euros per 30 days, which renews by itself until you stop it. The price list is public at treffit.suomi24.fi/subscription/promo and needs no account to view. Checked 18 September 2026, with the same figures on 4 and 14 September.

Does the subscription renew automatically?

It does if you choose the rolling subscription. It does not end by itself, and according to the service help text it can be cancelled only to the end of the next billing period. A fixed period, by contrast, ends on its own. Check which one you are buying at the moment of purchase, and put the end of the period in your calendar straight away.

How do I cancel a Suomi24 Treffit subscription?

The subscription terms say that «Kestotilauksen lopettaminen tapahtuu Treffit Plus -sivulla, kun käyttäjä on kirjautuneena» — you do it yourself on the Treffit Plus page while logged in, with no phone call needed. The subscription then runs to the end of the current period, so do it in good time before the 30 days turn over. Note the service own warning: hiding your profile does not affect the subscription, so hiding is not stopping the billing. If instead you have just placed an order, withdrawal is a different right and is exercised in writing within fourteen days.

How do I delete my Suomi24 Treffit profile?

The profile can be deleted in the settings, but the service warns separately that deletion cannot be undone and the data cannot be recovered. If you have an active paid subscription, deal with that first and delete the profile afterwards. Save the order confirmation and receipt before deleting.

Is Suomi24 Treffit a scam?

The service is run by Online Technology Group Oy, business ID 3104918-1, a Finnish company in the trade register whose details can be checked in the national open data service. In searches the word scam usually means one of three things: an unrecognised charge, a suspicion of fake profiles, or romance fraud by another user. The first is usually explained here by the rolling subscription. Against the second the service states that new profiles are verified by phone number. The third is a crime that occurs on every platform and is not a feature of the service.

Who owns Suomi24 Treffit?

The terms of use name the provider as Online Technology Group Oy, Kuortaneenkatu 1, 00520 Helsinki, business ID 3104918-1. The brand belongs to the City Digital group, which also lists E-kontakti, Treffit24 and Deitti.net among its brands. Several Finnish dating services therefore sit under one group.
