What the service’s own discount code page says

E-kontakti has its own page at e-kontakti.fi/alennuskoodi. Its heading is «E-kontakti alennuskoodi 2021». The page tells you to copy «alta kuukauden koodin», the code for the month from the list below, to log in or create a profile, and to enter the code on the order page «sille varattuun kenttään», in the field reserved for it. The page uses three Finnish words for the same thing: alennuskoodi and alekoodi (both mean discount code) and etukoodi (benefit code).

The codes are listed by month, from May to December, and every one of them ends in 21. The page lists no newer codes, and it says nothing about how long the codes stay valid or on what conditions they can be used.

The promise of the page reads: «kokeile deittailua sivustolla ilmaiseksi yhden päivän ajan», that is, «try dating on the site free of charge for one day». Elsewhere the page adds that a code lets you test, for a day, the features that normally cost money, and that after that day you can choose a period of two weeks or one, three or six months if you want to keep using all the features. So what is promised is a free day, not a percentage off, even though the heading says alennuskoodi, «discount code».

We state our position at once: Treffikone is not E-kontakti or its representative, and we receive a commission if you end up on the service through this page. About codes we write only what we can check, and we mark separately what we do not know.

What we do not know: whether the codes work in 2026

We do not know whether any of the codes on that page works today. The reason is practical: trying a code takes a profile and an order page, and we do not use the service. The same principle applies across the site: we do not write «experiences» of a service, because we have none.

The page itself does not settle it. Every code is marked with the year 2021, and the page gives no newer codes, no validity period and no conditions. On the other hand, it is still on the service’s own site and is mentioned in the «Lue lisää» list on the front page. From this you cannot conclude that the codes work, and you cannot conclude that they do not. The year gives a reason to doubt, but doubt is not knowledge.

For that reason we do not present the codes on that page as working and we do not publish them as an offer. If you want to try them yourself, the page is the service’s own and open to everyone, and the link is in the list of sources. Read the text of the order page first and use the code only there.

What is free without a code

You do not need a code for what the service already gives for free. The customer service page says: «E-kontakti.fissä voi luoda profiilin ja olla jäsenenä ilman maksua», that is, you can create a profile and be a member without paying. The same passage lists that you can create your own dating ad and photo album, send flirt messages and visit other people’s profiles.

Messaging is what costs money: «Viestin lukeminen ja lähettäminen on sivustolla maksullista», that is, reading and sending messages on the site is paid. According to the front page, you can search for suitable partner candidates for free. Your profile stays on the service at no charge after a paid period ends.

So the most important thing can be checked for free without a code: create a profile, narrow the search to your area and age range, and look at how many results you get. If there are few, no code makes a paid period cheap.

Prices and where you can save without a code

The price list on 1 November 2026 was the same as on 18 September 2026. Two weeks cost 24,90 € with a photo on the profile, one month 34,90 €, three months 59,90 € and six months 89,90 €. Without a photo the same periods cost 34,90 €, 44,90 €, 72,90 € and 99,90 €. A period does not renew automatically; in the service’s words, «meillä ei ole suoraveloitusta ja kaikki jäsenkautemme ovat määräaikaisia», that is, there is no direct debit and every membership period is fixed-term.

Without a code you can affect the price in three ways. The first is the photo: a profile with a photo is 10 or 13 euros cheaper, depending on the period. The second is the length of the period: three months cost 19,97 € a month with a photo and six months 14,98 € a month, while a single month costs 34,90 €. The third is the choice of periods: one month (34,90 €) is about 30 percent cheaper than two two-week periods in a row (49,80 € together). The monthly prices and the percentage are our own calculations.

A longer period is the cheapest option only if you use the service for the whole of it. A worked example: three one-month periods in a row would cost 104,70 € in total with a photo on the profile (3 × 34,90 €), while one three-month period costs 59,90 €. The difference is 44,80 euros, but only if you use the service for all three months. A sensible order is therefore: make the free profile and search first, and choose the length of the period only after that. The Plus package is an add-on, not a requirement

Besides the price list, the customer service page mentions one add-on subscription: Pluspaketti. According to the service, it is «lisätilaus tavalliseen E-kontakti.fin jäsenyyteen, eikä millään tavalla pakollinen», that is, an add-on subscription to the ordinary membership and in no way mandatory.

The extra features the page lists are invisible browsing, read receipts for the messages you send, five photo albums instead of one, filtering incoming messages and visitors by age, 15 «Päivityksiä» (the Finnish word means «updates») for each month ordered, and the Match-viestikone. The page does not explain what the last two do. The price of Pluspaketti is not on the customer service page, and we do not know it. If you need none of these features, check at the order stage what the order includes, and do not pay for features you will not use.

How to check a code safely

If you decide to try a code, do it like this. The list suits any dating-service code, not just this one.

• Use the code only on E-kontakti’s own order page, in the field reserved for the code. Do not give the code or payment details to any other site.
• Do not pay anyone for a code. The service’s own code page is open to everyone, so buying a code from a third party is not necessary.
• Read the text of the order page before you enter anything. We do not know whether payment details are asked for during the free day, so look at what the page itself says.
• Before you confirm a payment, look at what the order includes and what the total is. If the code does not do what the page promises, do not place the order, and ask customer service.
• Keep the order confirmation and the receipt. You will need them if a disagreement about the amount or about withdrawal arises later.
• Check from the order confirmation whether the period renews. According to the service, periods do not renew, but it is worth confirming this for your own order.
• If a code does not work or something stays unclear, ask the service: whether the code is still valid, when the free day ends and whether payment details are requested during it. Coupon sites and people selling codes

A search for «E-kontakti alennuskoodi» also brings up coupon sites that present offers for the service. A coupon site is not the service’s own communication, and typically it earns a commission, as we do. Always check the total against the service’s own price list and the order page: those are the only figures that bind.

If a coupon site promises savings of up to 30 percent on a one-month period, work it out yourself: one month (34,90 €) is about 30 percent cheaper than two two-week periods together (49,80 €). That difference is in the price list for everyone, without a code.

We do not hand out discount codes, because nobody has given us any. For the same reason we do not present any code as our own.

The monthly price is our own calculation: the price of the period divided by the number of months. We do not calculate a monthly price for the two-week period.
